7th Day of Evacuation of Lion Air PK-LQP, 175 Divers Deployed

Jakarta - A total of 175 divers were deployed to carry out underwater evacuations of aircraft wrecks and passengers of Lion Air PK-LQP. Today is the seventh day of the SAR operation of the fall of Lion Air PK-LQP in Tanjung Karawang, Bekasi Regency, West Java.

Based on Basarnas data, 151 divers came from Basarnas Special Group 41 people, Kansar Semarang 5 people, POSSI 16 people, Indonesia Diver 5 people.

Then the divers from Kopaska 38 personnel, Denjaka 28 personnel, Taifib 17 personnel, KPLP 7 people, Delta Brimob Unit 4 people and water police 14 people.

Meanwhile, as a whole, the personnel deployed for evacuation activities on land, sea and air were 1,396 people. Then the ships operated today are 69 units and helicopters are 5 units.

On land, an ambulance is prepared for 30 units. Furthermore, for two priority areas 1A and 1B underwater searches are deployed by the Baruna Jaya Ship equipped with MBES, ping locator, and DGPS and Dunamos Ship equipped with side scan sonar, MBES, ping locator and DGPS.
