Jakarta - The wreckage of the Lion Air PK-LQP aircraft turbine engine was taken to the Jakarta International Container Terminal (JICT) Pier 2. The turbine carcass was carried by ship landing craft ship 593-2 Banda Aceh belonging to Kolinlamil.
AFP monitoring on location on Sunday (11/04/2018), the plane turbine carcass was lifted from the ship landing craft ship 593-2 Banda Aceh belonging to Kolinlamil by using a crane car at JICT 2 around 08.55 WIB.
The appointment process took approximately 15 minutes by ABK, Basarnas personnel and crane car operators from the Indonesian Navy.
The carcass of the turbine is then placed in an area with a police line, the edge of the dock. The wreck of the aircraft's engine was placed next to the plane's wreck and debris or debris from the fuselage.
Previously, the rear wheel of the Lion Air PK-LQP was discovered and lifted first on Friday (11/2). The wheel was lifted to the KRI Banda Aceh using a crane.
Then the Lion Air wheel section was taken by the TNI AL LCU from KRI Banda Aceh. The ship arrived at Dermaga 2 JICT, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, at 14.36 WIB.
